Dr. Seuss’ Birthday

Wednesday, March 1st, 6:00pm
Celebrate one of the world’s most beloved children’s authors with cookies and fun Dr. Seuss-style activities. There will be crafts to make, games to play, face painting, and so much more!

Pi Day!

Tuesday, March 14th, 5:30pm, Youth, Ages 7-17
We are celebrating the mathematical constant that is Pi!  March 14th or 3/14, is National Pi Day because the number for Pi begins with 3.14. Do you know the rest? If you can say the most digits of the never-ending irrational number you could win a prize! You thought we couldn’t make math fun! But when you add pizza to anything, it’s a party! Bring the whole family for activities, treats, and a chance to win a prize.

Rainbow Windchimes

Tuesday, March 21st, 5:00pm, Ages 6+
Kids LOVE craft projects at any age, and what better project for the windy month of March than a colorful wind chime? Materials will be provided by the library. Limited materials. Registration encouraged, call (208) 472-2942 to register.

Meet the Raptors

Wednesday, March 22nd, 1:00pm

Soar with the Bureau of Land Management Raptors from the Morley Nelson Snake River Birds of Prey National Conservation Area (NCA). Meet live raptors up close, and learn about your public lands. This wild and educational program is sure to ruffle your feathers!

The Day the Crayons Quit Storytime

Friday, March 24th, 11:00am, Ages 3-7
Join us for a special colorful storytime! This time we will explore and be inspired by the tale told in the wonderful picture book The Day the Crayons Quit, by Drew Daywalt. After stories & songs, children will have the opportunity to go on a scavenger hunt and adopt their very own crayons.

Ready! Kindergarten Workshop

Wednesday, March 29th, 5:30p.m-7:30 p.m.
Parents and Caregivers of children ages 4-5 will learn how to turn everyday moments into exciting learning moments. You will get a kit with some amazing educational toys geared to your child’s age at each workshop! Each kit contains enough tools for a family to “Play With a Purpose”, to help children develop school-readiness skills. Dinner will be catered by Life’s Kitchen. Registration is required. Tween & Teen Night with the Reuseum

Thursday, March 23rd, 5:00pm-6:30pm, ages 8-17

Deconstruct some antiquated tech and turn it into a robot! Hosted by the amazing people at the Reuseum, here in Garden City, so you know it’s gonna be awesome! All materials provided, with limited space.  Registration required. Call (208) 472-2942 to register.

Kindergarten Readiness

New Session starts  February 1st
Wednesdays, 11:00am, Ages 3-6
In this special kindergarten prep class, meets storytime, children ages 4-6 will learn about the alphabet, writing, numbers, colors, shapes, and classroom skills, with new weekly topics to discover and explore. Registration encouraged. Please call (208)-472-2942.

Wiggle, jump, bounce, and clap! Movement and songs to support growing readers.

Tween Zone

Thursdays, 5:00pm, ages 8-15
Play games, snack on treats, make crafts, and enjoy time with friends! Different activities every week!

Bilingual Music & Movement ~ Muévete Al Ritmo Bilingüe

Fridays, 10:00am, All ages
