Craft & Chat: Beautiful Book Page Wreaths

Wednesday, January 29th, 5:30-7:00pm

After much interest in Craft & Chat’s Holiday Wreath Workshop, we decided we needed a way to display beautiful handmade wreaths year-round. And what better way than with books? Join Library friends and learn different ways to fold or curl paper, specifically book pages, to create a masterpiece that can be displayed for all seasons. All materials are provided. Fit and Fall Proof: Senior Fitness Class

Tuesdays & Thursdays / 11:00am & 12:15pm. 
Increase strength, mobility, balance, flexibility, confidence and social well-being. Sponsored by the Central District Health Department and the Garden City Public Library.

Qigong

Wednesdays at 11:00am

Qigong is an ancient Chinese health practice similar to Tai Chi in which you engage your mind, body, and spirit in a gentle way. Pick up and return waivers at the front desk.

The Women’s & Children’s Alliance

Third Wednesday, January 15th, 1:30-3:30pm
The Women’s & Children’s Alliance provides safety, healing and freedom from domestic abuse and sexual assault. The WCA operates secure shelters and provides professional counseling, legal advocacy, crisis services and case management to survivors of domestic and sexual abuse.
