Get a library card

You can get a temporary library card online

How does this work?

Follow the below link and fill out the form.

https://catalog.idaho-lynx.org/polaris/patronaccount/selfregister.aspx?ctx=25.1033.0.0.5

Within two (2) business days you will receive an email from a librarian.  The email will include your new library card number and pin.  The librarian will also snail mail your physical library card to you.

You can use your library card number and pin to access online services such as e-books, e-magazines, audiobooks, and streaming movies via notaquitelibrary.org.  You can also use your library card number to requests holds.

Your library card will be active for 2 months.  During that time you will receive unlimited access to online resources, but you will be limited to 10 holds/check-outs.

A librarian will need to see a photo ID and proof of address in order to move your account from temporary to permanent.  This requires an on-site visit.
